This past Monday the place where I work with the two, shining and smiling men above was awarded the title of “Producer of the Year” by the Norwegian council for organic and sustainable food, a.k.a. Matprisen. Over the last year I’ve become more and more involved in the company, especially when it comes to the room where we hang naturally fermented (and a little bit of salt) meat and salami. Mmm. Look out Oslo (finally) for some of my feremented drinks early in 2018!
In other words, for the last 1.5 years I’ve been working as a butcher when I’m not making artist books, printing on a Riso or taking photographs. Not too odd considering the two others are artist-designer and an Oxford-educated economist.
