Hedda Roterud Amundsen

This week in Umeå
On Friday a short video I’ve made (a still from which is above) will be debuted as part of a screening organized by Lily Benson at Folkets Bio in Umeå. The screening itself is in conjunction with her solo show entitled The unnamed feeling opening on Thursday at Trailer Gallery.
This show should not be missed if you’re in the area because not only should the show be good, but Lily is great also! Inspired by Youtube videos of simple everyday gestures filmed with intimacy intended to induce Autonomous Sensory Meridian Response (A.S.M.R.), she has created a new body of work around the need to name bodily sensations. Books, book fairs
Filed under: Publications
Over the last week I’ve updated this website with a new page about my life as a publisher.
Photo above from last year’s Zines Mate in Tokyo.
Also a new publication of mine just released on NSEW, my MFA thesis: Slow Education.

Hei NYC
In just a few weeks I’ll be coming back to represent my new home country at the NY Art Book Fair in this year’s Norway Focus room.
At my table Jessica Williams + Friends I’ll be showing my own work, postcards from NSEW, student work made in a workshop I founded, beautiful posters from the Oslo artist space 1857, and more.
To be honest I’m pretty excited!
In 2005, now almost 10 years ago, I interned at Printed Matter. In 2006 I was a volunteer at the very first NYABF. Lots of good, funny and sweaty memories. If you’re in NYC and happen by PS1, do come in and say hi this time around.
