Baltimore’s Open Space is re-opening in a brand new location with a group show I’m happy to be a part of:

Precious Moments is a group curated show focusing on works that are hinged on sentiment and the gentle gaze of mind-full observation. Artworks span from domestic sculpture to written and painted prose. Like photos in a family album, this show is woven as a warm blanket to welcome you to our new home.

Andrew Eargle (Oakland)
Roberto Jamora (New York)
Flannery Silva (Baltimore)
Patrice Renee Washington (New York)
Jessica Williams (Oslo)

Open Space
512 W Franklin St
Baltimore, MD 21201

Opening: Saturday, October 25, 6 – 9pm
Exhibition: October 25 – November, 2014

as-is

Working on a new project now during this lull between traveling, application deadlines, and real life. A slow sifting through images with the tentative title: digital images of the physical world.

Last night Rolf and I were talking about my childhood love of sci-fi. Got so impassioned talking about it but when I was done he just shrugged and said something about our world being so crazy and full enough as-is.

Also: posting some images here, though I haven’t decided how I feel about it yet.

Rolf (my husband) and I have started a new blog about foraging, fermentation, and food: unlikely pairing.

I’m trying to keep it updated twice a week and at this very moment we actually have dozens of projects going on. Tomorrow, for example, I’m bottling our first batch of hard cider this season and preparing the second. I also took a few pics of things to forage in NYC when we were there last week..
