Júlía Hermannsdóttir is an artist and musician living in Reykjavík, Iceland. In 2010 she graduated with a BA from Parsons in New York City. As of the beginning of 2013, her band Oyama is in the process of releasing their first EP. She also promises to update her website as soon as she can, promises.

For this series of 2 untitled postcards, she presents the viewer with meditations on the touchy subjects of illness, handicap, and sexuality. Productive communication around these topics and the potential of the Internet as an empowering space for girls are also of interest.
